The Yorkminster Park Speakers Series is a continuing education program of Yorkminster Park Church intended to engage the Midtown community at Yonge & St. Clair, and from across Toronto and beyond – Everyone is welcome.

We aim to build and sustain a community of the curious, where you can encounter authoritative speakers eager to share their knowledge, discover new areas of interest or dig deeper into familiar ones, and engage with others of like mind in a convivial setting of mutual respect.

Although accessible online and recorded for those unable to attend in person or watch live, these lectures are intended as social occasions. Meet your neighbour, invite your colleague, bring your grandchild. We extend a particular invitation to students ready to supplement their formal education and set out on the road of life-long learning.

Your donation at the door ($15 or ‘pay what you can’) is voluntary and only partially covers program costs. If you agree that continuing education is worth the investment, would you consider making a legacy gift or sponsoring a specific speaker from out of town? If so, we’d love to hear from you. You can also support the series by buying a “Season’s Pass” for just $99 ($79 for students).

With your Season’s Pass you can attend any or all of the thirteen lectures in the 2023 – 24 season. The passes are available for purchase at the door. Your support in whatever form helps us maintain the high quality and versatility of our program.
